Josie is one of our go to ride mares. Josie is a mare that can go all day either in the high country's rough lands chasing cows, babysitting, or to an arena to rope off of or to spin holes in the dirt. Josie is an amazing fun mare to work with papers to go with.
Josie comes from an older line of producers.
Josie's sire Hancocks Blue Zeke is by Hancock Homespun Joe, who ran a consistent 1D times in NBHA. The top side of Zeke's pedigree also contains Hancocks Blue Boy, who is 31.25% Blue Valentine and 19.88% Joe hancock and Mr Roan Hancock. Both of these sires are well known in the quarter horse breed as phenomenal ranch horses of their time. Hancocks Blue Boy's offsprings excelled in the roping arena, earning AQHA point in heading and tie down roping. Blue Valentine competed in professional rodeo successfully in roping and barrel racing.
Josie's Dams side Sugar Bar Seeker pedigree, contains a 10.57% influence of Three Bars, a leading race AQHA Hall of Fame sire. Three Bar's was an influential sire making a big impact in the quarter horse world. Sugar Bar Seeker also has an influence 10.56% of Sugar Bars. These blood lines have been proven to be great crosses on Hancock bred horses.

Red has proven herself as a "go to" ranch horse. She has done it all from the mountains, ropping pens, cows, and also a kids mount. She is just one of our many mares out of our amazing stud Zeke.

Dam Side: Ettabar Blu was a proven barrel racing mare. Her linage goes back to Mr Ettablu a grandson of the great Azure Te one of the leading quarter horse sires. Azure Te was an induuctee in QHQA Hall of Fame in 2015 with winnings over $119,000. Ettabar Blu also went back to Docs Jack Frost an well known stud that was an excellent performance stud and money producing sire.

Ears's sire Tuff Continental Kid has some older lines that go back to Continental Cad that is 100% Foundation Quarter Horse and 88% in NFQHA. Continental Cad is an AQHA points earner in heading and heeling, Halter, Western Pleasure, Reining, and many more. This Sire was an all-around stud that passed the diversity to his foals.
Ears is a mare that can go all day in the high country after cows or just for a good trail ride. She is one that everyone loves to ride when they come to visit.

On the top side of this mare's pedigree she goes back to The Continental who was an AQHA Champion with Register of Merritt's in performance and racing. Also on the top side is the legendary AQHA Hall of Famer, Driftwood. Driftwood has produced many great ranch horses as well as NCHA money earners.
On the bottom side of her pedigree she goes back to Old Tom Cat. He was 100% foundation bred and an AQHA champion. He held ROM's in performance. He produced many offspring that were superior halter and performance horses as well as AQHA champions. Jet Deck is on her pedigree as well. He had a speed index of 100 and is also in the AQHA Hall of Fame. He was a champion running horse and produced progeny that has earned over 6 million dollars.

Smart Little Lark (Reference Dam Only- Deceased)
This mare is a daughter of Look Who's Larkin. He was the 1999 AQHA Super Horse. He was Reserve World Champion in heading and heeling as well as an AQHA champion in reining and working cow horse. Her grandsire is Rugged Lark. He is one of AQHA's top ten leading performance and reining sire. He was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2006. Rugged Lark is the only stallion to earn 2 AQHA World Show Super Horse Titles. He has produced multiple NCHA, NRHA and National Reined Cow Horse Champions. Rugged Larks was truly a versatile stallion earning points in many AQHA events.
She is also a granddaughter of Lean With Me. He was NRCHA Reserve World Champion. He received and AQHA World Championship in Junior Working Cow Horse as well as Senior Reining. Lean With Me was sired by Smart Little Lena. He was an NCHA money earner and is one of AQHA's leading sires.
