Hancocks Blue Zeke is by Hancock Homespun Joe, who before retired, ran consistent 1D times in NBHA. The top side of Zeke's pedigree also contains Hancocks Blue Boy, who is 31.25% Blue Valentine and 19.88 % Joe Hancock and Mr Roan Hancock. Both of these sires are well known in the breed as phenomenal ranch horses of their time. Hancock Blue Boy's offspring excelled in the roping arena, earning AQHA points in heading and tie down roping. Blue Valentine competed in professional rodeo successfully in roping and barrel racing.

| On the bottom side of Zeke's pedigree is Voo Doo River, a direct son of Ruby River Roan. Ruby River Roan has sired many competitive ranch/rodeo horses as well as AQHA money earners in heeling and reining. Zeke has successfully passed on his temperment, conformation, trainability and color his foals.
Zeke himself is a joy to ride and be around. We have used Zeke for everything from ranch work to riding in the mountains. He is steady in whatever he asked to do.
